Folks may be divided about Weezer’s latest album, Raditude, but when a Weez is in need, he can find a unified front of support. Such was the case when frontman Rivers Cuomo was injured in an accident Dec. 6 when the back end of his tour bus slid into a highway median in upstate New York.

After complaining of rib pain, Cuomo was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, New York. Although he’s now back in Los Angeles recoving, doctors have advised him not to continue Weezer’s current tour; the band’s Raditude trek, which was to extend into January, has now been cancelled.

As of now, Weezer’s next scheduled show will be the band’s headlining spot of Bamboozle in May.

Cancelled dates:

7 – Boston, Mass. @ Agganis Arena
9 – Fairfax, Va. @ Patriot Center
10 – Camden N.J. @ Susquehanna Center
