So you thought you’d seen the last of those pesky Velociraptor clones from Jurassic Park, did ya, smart guy? Well, think again. In a recent interview with Boxoffice Magazine, Jurassic Park III director Joe Johnston confirmed rumors of a fourth movie.
“Well, there is going to be a Jurassic Park IV,” he said, launching into the usual I’m-really-excited speech that folks who are making a movie tend to invoke when interviewed about said movie. “And it’s going to be unlike anything you’ve seen. It breaks away from the first three—it’s essentially the beginning of the second Jurassic Park trilogy.”
Yeah, yeah, yeah. “Unlike anything you’ve ever seen.” We get it… Wait, what was that last part?
Indeed, audiences can apparently expect as many as three more man vs. dino flicks in the future. Interesting, but we’re going to hold back our excitement for now. After all, remember Jurassic Park III? Unfortunately, we do.
We wish you way more than luck, Joe.
