After serving as Wallflowers frontman for nearly two decades and venturing out on his own with 2008’s Seeing Things (an album that drew comparisons to his famous dad), Jakob Dylan is back with a new solo effort, Women and Country.
and Kelly Hogan provide backing vocals on eights of the album’s 11 tracks. Women and Country also features guitar work from Marc Ribot and David Mansfield on strings. Legendary producer T Bone Burnett—who worked on The Wallflower’s 1996 debut Bringing Down the Horse—will helm production duties on the upcoming album.
Women and Country will be released April 6 on Columbia Records.
