Last year, when asked by Paste why people should attend the inaugural Atlanta Mess Around festival, Rob’s House Records founder Trey Lindsay responded, “They should go because it’ll be the last chance (until we do it again next year).”
Making good on the promise, Rob’s House, along with fellow Atlanta label Douchemaster Records, are once again ready to mess around. Like last year, the 2010 lineup is filled with rock bands predominantly of the garage and punk variety, several of which are from Atlanta. Unlike last year, the 2010 fest will be spread across two venues (The EARL and 529) and two record stores (Criminal and Reactionary). It all goes down April 23 and 24. Tickets are currently available in the form of a $25 weekend pass that can be purchased online via Ticket Alternative or in person at Decatur CD.
