Beck’s Record Club project in which he collaborates with other artists to record an entire cover album in one day—is now on its fourth installment. This time, Beck’s getting help from St. Vincent, Liars and Os Mutantes, according to Spinner.com.
The three previous Record Club recordings saw Beck working with Nigel Godrich and Giovanni Ribisi to cover The Velvet Underground and Nico, Devendra Banhart and MGMT on Songs of Leonard Cohen, and most recently with Jamie Lidell, Feist and Wilco on Skip Spence’s Oar.
There’s no news yet which album we can expect to hear from the Beck/St. Vincent/Os Mutantes/Liars collaboration, but according to St. Vincent’s Twitter, “It will be online soonish.” Each Record Club album is released on a one-song-a-week schedule on Beck’s website.
