Spotify, the popular music-streaming service that may be headed stateside soon, has teamed up with Facebook, allowing users to share music through their profiles and messages. According to the NME, Spotify pages can now be posted on Facebook profiles, and users can share songs with each other.
The collaboration of the two popular sites (though Spotify is still only in Europe) began today as part of the launch of Spotify’s version 0.4.3. Users will now be able to connect to Facebook through Spotify, thereby sharing their music profiles all of their Facebook friends who’ve also logged on through the streaming site. Spotify’s blog provides more details on the link up with Facebook.
Internet radio site Pandora has also teamed up with the social networking site to bring its music to the masses.
