Dave Matthews  Band is hitting the road once again for an extensive summer tour that covers just about every inch of North America.

The fellas kick off this year’s tour in Hartford, Conn. tonight, the first of a two-night stand there. After that they’ll travel into Canada and back to headline the Bonnaroo, HullabaLOU and the Mile High Music Festivals. They make their way through the states before finally wrapping up about three months of touring in St. Paul. There’s a free show slated for Aug. 17, and their traditional Labor Day weekend stint at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash.

Fans should be sure to catch Dave Matthews Band on its 20th consecutive summer tour, as a statement posted on the band’s website says the group will be taking next year off before returning to the road in 2012.
