News of Jenny Lewisside project with boyfriend and singer/songwriter Johnathan Rice hit the internet a couple of weeks ago. Although the duo’s debut album, We’re Having Fun Now, hasn’t got a release date yet, you can download the first single for free.

The album also got some cover art and a slew of tour dates throughout the U.S. this fall. The duo has elected to join a roster of musicians including Rage Against the Machine, Juanes, Conor Oberst and more in a boycott of the Arizona state legislature’s bill SB 1070, a controversial anti-illegal immigration measure. “So many of our friends and fans are of latino/chicano/hispanic origin, and we wanna show our love and respect for them by boycotting the state of arizona until they come to their senses,” J&J write on their official website. “To all our rad southwestern peeps, we’re sorry that the brutes are running the show and we hope they get voted out of office.”
