With the release of an album (whose cover portrays a somewhat disturbing animal-family hybrid, seen right) entitled Familial on Aug. 30, drummer Phil Selway will join the likes of Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood as the third member of Radiohead (who also has an album tentatively coming out later this year) to go solo.

There are still a few months to go before the album, recorded at Radiohead’s Oxford studio last year, sees daylight, but Selway has already completed a small tour at a few clubs in a few European countries. Now, he’s announced that he’ll embark on another short tour in Europe, this time in the UK.

During his previous tour through Europe, David Bowie/eels collaborator Lisa Germano opened for Selway. While no news has surfaced about openers for this next tour, he will join Wilco for three tour stops and visit a few UK festivals along the way.
