Stream the New Gaslight Anthem Album, American Slang, Now

When we caught up with Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon, he had a lot to say about the band’s latest effort, American Slang. Besides being an album about “surviving within your circumstances,” Fallon says the soul-punk collective’s third full-length is heavily influenced by early Clapton, the Rolling Stones, Tom Waits, The Clash and The Supremes.

Even though American Slang — one of the 25 albums we’re looking forward to this summer — doesn’t drop till next week (June 15), the entire album is available for streaming on NPR.
