Pokerfaced filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, the man behind fantastic films like Ghost Dog and Dead Man, talked to Pitchfork recently about a few upcoming projects that it seems only he could announce.
“I’m working on a documentary about the Stooges,” he told PItchfork recently. “It’s going to take a few years. There’s no rush on it, but it’s something that Iggy asked me to do.”
In addition to that project, Jarmusch announced that he’s co-writing an “opera” with composer Phil Klein about the inventor Nikola Tesla. He is also making music with his band (formerly Bad Rabbit and now called Sqürl) and developing a project with Tilda Swinton, Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska (the Alice in Wonderland from the Tim Burton film).
