There’s nothing like a killer music festival to make your displaced Midwesterner correspondent yearn for the flatlands of Illinois. If you happen to find yourself in Champaign-Urbana, Ill. tonight with no plans, do yourself a favor and check out the Pygmalion Music Festival.
The sixth annual fest features an especially stacked lineup this year, with Of Montreal, Built to Spill, Roky Erickson and Okkervil River, Caribou, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Cap’n Jazz, Surfer Blood and Janelle Monae all slated to appear.
Check out the complete lineup here, the schedule here and get your tickets here. Oh, and can someone swing by Georgia and pick up your correspondent on the way to the fest?
