As we get closer and closer to this year’s Glastonbury, the lineup keeps growing into one of the year’s best festivals. But then again, isn’t that how it always is with the UK’s premier festival? While we had previously reported that U2, Coldplay, Beyonce and a handful of other would be performing, the lineup just got a whole lot bigger with the likes of Morrissey, Queens of the Stone Age, The Chemical Brothers, Paul Simon, Bright Eyes, Fleet Foxes, and TV on the Radio also leading the way.
Glastonbury, which will take place on June 22-26 in Pilton, UK, will also feature B.B. King, Fat Boy Slim, Pendulum, Primal Scream, Wu-Tang Clan, Big Audio Dynamite, Nick Lowe, Mumford & Sons, Cee-Lo Green, Big Boi, Janelle Monáe, Elbow, Robyn, The Kills, Biffy Clyro, The Gaslight Anthem, Kaiser Chiefs, Jimmy Eat World, White Lies, Twilight Singers, Paolo Nutini, Cold War Kids, Jimmy Cliff, Friendly Fires, The Eels, The Walkmen, The Streets, Crystal Castles, Lykke Li, Jenny & Johnny, Caribou, OK Go, Yuck, The Go! Team, Hercules and Love Affair, The Vaccines, DJ Shadow, Laura Marling, James Blake, John Grant, Warpaint, Jamie xx, The Joy Formidable, Cults, Fujiya & Miyagi, Esben And The Witch, The Low Anthem, Carl Cox, Gruff Rhys, Flogging Molly, Little Dragon, Two Door Cinema Club, Plan B, Tame Impala, DeVotchKa, The Wombats, Wild Beasts, Erol Alkan, Ke$ha, Beardyman, Mount Kimbie, James Holden, Yousef, Mike Posner, Foster the People, Hurts, Noah and the Whale and Brother. Odds are that more acts will continue to be announced as we approach the date of the festival.
It certainly looks like Glastonbury will once again live up to its reputation. Hopefully, you already purchased your tickets for this event, as it sold out a long time ago. For more information, visit Glastonbury.co.uk.
