Back in May, Kate Bush revealed that she was working on a new album.
Speaking with BBC 6 Music, the British singer-songwriter said, “I’m working on a new record. It’s all kinds of bits and pieces, really. All in different stages of work. There’s always ideas buzzing around, but it’s whether they actually end up materialising into a song. It’s all quite an elusive process.”
Now, Mark Poston, chairman of EMI Music Australia, says he is expecting to release Bush’s new album this fall.
In an interview with Australian newspaper the Star Observer, he said he is highly anticipating the upcoming record.
“Of course, you can never be sure with Kate Bush,” said Poston. “She does things at her own pace. But we’ve been told to prepare for a November release.”
Bush just released a collection of 10 reworked songs on May’s Director’s Cut. The British songstress’ last album was Aerial, which was released in 2005.
