Chris Pratt has had a pretty great 2011. Not only is he co-starring on one of the greatest comedies on TV right now, Parks and Recreation, but he also had a fantastic supporting role in the critically acclaimed Moneyball. Now it seems like Pratt may be ending this year with one of his biggest roles yet.
Kathryn Bigelow’s follow-up to her Oscar-winning The Hurt Locker will be a film that was previously called Kill Bin Laden. Now Bigelow may cast Pratt in the film’s lead role.
The film originally had Joel Edgerton of Animal Kingdom and Warrior fame as the lead, but Edgerton had to drop out.
The untitled Bigelow film is slated to start shooting in February and currently has a Dec. 19, 2012 release scheduled.
