Yesterday Canadian singer-songwriter Leslie Feist posted a new track on her Soundcloud page, an exquisitely soulful Beck remix of “How Come You Never Go There,” the first single off of her fourth and latest album, this past October’s Metals.
A couple of years ago, Feist, among other artists, collaborated with Beck on his Record Club rendition of the 1969 Skip Spence solo album Oar, where she provided lead vocals on “Weighted Down (The Prison Song)”. Recently, Feist and Mastodon announced a collaborative 7” to be released next year where each covers one of the other’s songs.
