Two Lost Doctor Who Episodes Restored

Two episodes from the long-running Doctor Who were lost sometime after airing in the 1960s, and it was assumed they’d never to see the light of day again. However, the two episodes (Part 3 of the William Hartnell story “Galaxy 4” and Part 2 of Patrick Troughton’s “The Underwater Menace”) have been restored to the BBC Archive.

The two episodes were held in a private collection since the 1980s, and the owner had no idea that they contained missing material.
