British guitarist, DJ and producer Mark Ronson has been working on scoring music for an English ballet entitled “Carbon Life.” Set to debut at the Royal Opera House on April 5, “Carbon Life” will be the final act of a three-part performance that also includes ballets called “New Scarlett” and “Polyphonia.”
Ronson’s piece will include nine love songs featuring additional musical contributions from Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt, The Drums’ Jonathan Pierce, The Kills’ Alison Mosshart, Boy George, Hero Fisher, Wale and Black Cobain. Rufus Wainwright will also orchestrate the music.
“New Scarlett / Polyphonia / Carbon Life” will run for six shows in London. Learn more and purchase tickets at the Royal Opera House website.
