NBC Announces 2012 Fall Lineup

Brace yourself, TV lovers—the NBC 2012-13 fall schedule has arrived. Comedy lovers will be relieved to find that the Thursday lineup remains largely untouched; 30 Rock, The Office and Parks and Recreation have all secured a spot. Most noticeably absent is Community, which can now be found sandwiched between Whitney and Grimm on Friday nights. The move doesn’t bode well for the future of Community, despite its recent renewal for a fourth season.

Along with the expected familiar faces, NBC is also shaking things up with a few new shows. Seven new comedies, including Animal Practice, Guys With Kids and Next Caller join the roster (although not a single new show will join the prestigious Thursday lineup). Drama fans can look forward to five new shows, including Revolution, the latest project from J.J. Abrams.
