Steve Jobs occupied centerpiece position during an award show that was otherwise filled with memes like “Owling” and “Sh*t Girls Say.” Justin Long and John Hodgman did a short comedy routine/history lesson about the role Jobs took in Apple’s advertising. Following was a heartfelt and somewhat volatile rant by Richard Dreyfus and a video montage of important Americans—including President Obama—extolling the virtues of Jobs’ visionary work.
