Former Sleater-Kinney frontwoman Corin Tucker has announced that she is set to release her second solo album, Kill My Blues, on Sept. 18 through Kill Rock Stars. Tucker and her band will be touring the East Coast in September in support of the new release.

The members of Sleater-Kinney haven’t had trouble finding work since the band broke up in 2006. Guitarist Carrie Brownstein went on to write about music for NPR, star in the hit IFC comedy Portlandia and form a new band, Wild Flag. Tucker has traveled a more domestic route, settling down and having a second child with her husband Lance Bangs, but that hasn’t stopped her from recording music.
