After much anticipation, No Doubt has released additional details about their long-awaited reunion album, including the LP’s name, Push and Shove.
In the same announcement, the iconic band revealed the lead single, “Settle Down,” will be out July 16. For the the new release, their first since 2001’s Rock Steady, they’ve hooked up with Major Lazer (aka Diplo and Switch) for production, as well as Mike “Spike” Stent, who has previously worked with Madonna, U2 and Lady Gaga.
Push and Shove was originally supposed to be out before Christmas last year, but the band pushed back the release in an effort to “make it sure it’s the best album we could possibly make,” according to NME. The album is set to drop Sept. 25 via Interscope Records.
No Doubt wrote in the announcement, “We can’t wait to share it all with you. See you out there soon.”
