When heading to the theater for a Wes Anderson movie, you expect to see a typical cast of characters: Bill Murray, Owen Wilson or Jason Schwartzman. But for his next film, Anderson has enlisted some new help: Johnny Depp.
The film, called The Grand Budapest Hotel will supposedly be set in Europe. After the director’s last two children-oriented films (The Fantastic Mr. Fox and Moonrise Kingdom), it has been called “not family friendly” by Anderson, according to the Huffington Post. Little else is known about the film, although potential co-stars include Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Jude Law, Angela Lansbury, and unsurprisingly, Owen Wilson and Bill Murray.
The Grand Budapest Hotel will follow Anderson’s smash hit Moonrise Kingdom, which garnered both critical praise and $44 million at the box office worldwide.
