has released yet another song off their forthcoming album, a synthy R&B track titled “Constant Conversations.”
Following “”Take a Walk and “”I’ll Be Alright, the song is the third to be released from Gossamer, Passion Pit’s sophomore full-length album. Frontman Michael Angelakos spoke about “Constant Conversations” in a recent interview with Pitchfork.
“That song is typical of me in terms of it taking a very uplifting sound and weighing it down with really personal, candid material,” he said in the interview. “I love James Blake and how he does this really soft, serious stuff; I make a mockery out of it, because I make a mockery out of myself.”
Gossamer is set to be released July 24 through Columbia Records, but you can listen to “Constant Conversations” now at Pitchfork.
