Pedro the Lion
broke-up six years ago, but the band’s label is giving fans a chance to reminisce on its decade-long run by reissuing its entire catalog.
On Oct. 30, Jade Tree Records will release four of Pedro the Lion’s full-length LPs and an EP on freshly minted vinyl. The albums were remastered by multi-instrumentalist T.W. Walsh.
The repressings include the band’s 1998 Made In Mexico debut, It’s Hard to Find a Friend, as well as its three Jade Tree releases, Winners Never Quit, Control and Achilles Heel. The Only Reason I Feel Secure, the band’s 1999 EP, rounds out the collection.
A presale for the albums will be held from now until Aug. 31. On top of that fresh-pressed vinyl, the band’s throwing in some goodies. Some of the extras include printed and signed copies of this image to the right, which shows frontman David Bazan getting his forehead split open by an ax.
