The boys of the Black Lips tell the rise-and-fall story of once-proud Atlanta Braves’ mascot in their new video for “Noc-A-Homa.” The punk rockers don uniforms and take to the field, but only after harassing the old chief that formerly led his team to victory with war dances.
The video, which was directed by Sandy Kim, depicts Chief Noc-A-Homa rummaging through garbage bins and living on the streets one minute and returning to his former glory the next. A track off their latest album Arabia Mountain, “Noc-A-Homa” serves up the classic Black Lips’ sound while proving the boys are still just as crazy as always. But that’s why we love them.
