The Railroad Revival Tour has announced a new route along with the 2012 lineup for its second year.
Willie Nelson & Family, Band of Horses, Jamey Johnson and John Reilly & Friends are all on board for the tour, which will make eight stops between Georgia and Oakland, Calif., between Oct. 20 and 28. After kicking off at the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Ga., the musicians will travel cross-country in 1940s rail cars, stopping along the way to performing in open air, pop-up venues. Last year’s trek included Mumford & Sons and Old Crow Medicine Show.
The gang will be making appearances in Memphis, Tenn; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Old Town Spring, Texas; Tempe, Ariz. and San Pedro, Calif., with more info here.
