The comfortingly quirky voice of Ron Howard has narrated the first three seasons of Arrested Development, and in a recent interview with CNN the Oscar-winning filmmaker revealed that his physical likeness will be making an appearance in the show’s upcoming fourth season.
”[I’m] told that I’m going to have to make an appearance as I did in the last episode of Arrested Development—I’m showing up again at some point,” Howard told CNN. “So, I’m going to have to film that soon which will be kind of fun. Usually I’m a little too busy, but, with Mitch [Hurwitz, creator] and Arrested Development it’s irresistible.”
In other recent interviews, Howard has reveled that the new season, which is currently in production and will air on Netflix sometime in 2013, will introduce new characters and that one of them will be Mad Men’s John Slattery.
