A bevy of new actors have been cast to appear in Larry David’s upcoming movie for HBO. Jon Hamm and Michael Keaton had already been confirmed to appear in the improv-heavy film, and now Bill Hader, Eva Mendes, Amy Ryan, J.B. Smoove and Danny McBride have also been tapped.
The movie will be titled Clear History and will follow David’s character after he passes on investing in an electric car because he objects to the name. Of course, the car ends up being a huge success, prompting David to move to Massachusetts and change his name.
Like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Clear History will rely heavily on improv. It will be directed by Superbad’s Greg Mottola.
