Every now and then, Wes Anderson adds a new name to his list of frequent collaborators. But this time around, he’s added two, according to a report from MTV, which states that Jude Law is now set to join Johnny Depp in Anderson’s next film, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
In a recent interview with MTV, Law talked about how he asked Anderson for years to get a role.
“I pestered him with emails for years, saying ‘I want to live in one of your films and I’d like to be in one of your films’,” said Law.
Not much has been released about the film, and Law stayed relatively quiet on the subject of his involvement. He did mention that his role was a small one in the film where as Depp will be more of a key player.
Of course, no Wes Anderson film would be complete without his signature team. In July, Anderson released a list of actors he wanted for the upcoming film. The list had many seasoned Anderson collaborators including Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum and Adrien Brody.
Shooting for The Grand Budapest Hotel begins in January.
