NBC is creating a sitcom based around Cee Lo Green. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Voice judge will have a sitcom based around his relationship with his ex-wife and children.
The show is in the very early stages and hasn’t even been green-lighted for a pilot yet. If the show does happen it would have writer Ali Leroi, whose previous credits include Everybody Hates Chris. It’s been reported that Green would potentially star in and produce the comedy and his character would be a top recording artist (shocker!).
If Green’s sitcom does happen, he will become the second judge from the Voice to star in a television show. Adam Levine recently booked a spot on FX’s American Horror Story: Asylum.
The Voice begins Sept. 10, and the new season of American Horror Story: Asylum returns in October.
