Neil Patrick Harris
wears a suit of many colors, dabbling in acting, magic, hosting and now writing.
The NYTimes reports that Crown Archetype has acquired a nonfiction book from Harris, which is planned for a 2014 release. The still-untitled book is described by the publishing company as “a work of imaginative nonfiction that delivers an interactive, nonlinear reading experience that breaks the boundaries of conventional memoir.” Harris will undoubtedly talk about his real-life experiences in various personal and professional roles, from child actor to father.
“I’m excited to be writing a book of the observations and stories of my life,” Harris said in a statement. “I read with great fondness Tina Fey’s Bossypants, so my plan is just to reprint those exact stories but change the names to people that I knew. What editor would take issue with that?”
