When it comes to the latest project from the Coen Brothers, Inside Llewyn Davis, details remain scarce. As far as peeks at the film, we’ve only seen a few images and a rough idea of the premise. But over the weekend, actor Oscar Isaac, who portrays a ‘60s folk singer in the film, performed “Dink’s Song” from the Inside Llewyn Davis soundtrack.
“Dink’s Song,” a popular folk tune, has been covered numerous times by several high-profile artists including Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan and Jeff Buckley. Dave Van Ronk, who the character of Llewyn Davis is based upon, also released a rendition of the song.
The film, which has yet to announce a domestic distributor or entry into any of the upcoming film festivals, follows Llewyn through the 1960s folk scene of New York. The cast includes Carey Mulligan, Garrett Hedlund, Justin Timberlake and John Goodman.
