Prior to 2010, Armie Hammer’s most notable role was guest-starring in a few episodes of Gossip Girl. It wasn’t until he was cast in The Social Network that people really began to take notice. Since then he’s starred opposite Leonardo DiCaprio (J. Edgar), Julia Roberts (Mirror Mirror) and Johnny Depp (the upcoming The Lone Ranger). He may soon have another impressive mark on his resume, the role of Batman.
According to Moviehole, the actor is back on Warner Bros’ radar to play the part in George Miller’s Justice League of America.
It is currently unknown if Hammer would take his interpretation of the character into a solo movie, but right now he is just being considered for the all-star movie that will unite characters of Superman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter.
