As part of their fourteenth “From the Vault” package, Third Man Records will release a live double LP of Jack White’s performance at the label’s third anniversary party earlier this year. One record will contain White’s set with his all-female backing band, The Peacocks, while the other features his all-male backing band, The Buzzards.
White played material from his solo debut, as well as songs by The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs and The White Stripes. One of The White Stripes songs he played was “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” from Elephant. Third Man has kindly released a stream of the track.
As part of their 14th “Vault Package,” Third Man Records will release a Live at Third Man Records double LP of Jack White’s performance at the label’s third anniversary party earlier this year.
The first LP features White’s all-female backing band, The Peacocks, and the second features the all-male Buzzards. Both LPs will be pressed on black and blue, two-color vinyl. The album’s packaging features a Lenticular gatefold cover, meaning it displays two images at once. The one you see depends on the angle at which you look at it.
Also included in Vault Package #14 will be previously unreleased Blunderbuss demos, as well as Shark Infested Soda Fountain, a photo book by Alison Mosshart that features photos of The Dead Weather on the road.
