In an interview with NME, Mumford and Sons’ banjo player Winston Marshall reveals that the band is already working on new material for the follow-up to this year’s sophomore effort Babel.
“Will we wait years for the next album? Fuck, no. You heard it here first, ” Marshall said. “We’ve just started working on new songs, got a rehearsal studio. They’re bones of songs, but really exciting bones. Sturdy bones.”
Mumford and Sons recently received several Grammy nominations and are currently touring overseas.
