For three years, fans of Phoenix have been patiently awaiting the follow up album to the band’s critically acclaimed Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. Fans can now breathe a sigh of relief; The band has finished up the album and plan to release it in April, according to Rolling Stone.
Daniel Glass—the head of Phoenix’s label, Glassnote—announced the exciting news today at a Spotify event. Earlier in the day, Glass talked to the band on the phone, who informed him that they had completed recording their new material in a Paris studio.
Phoenix had been working on the yet-to-be-named album since 2011 in Paris studio and plan to release it sometime in April.
