To celebrate the 25th anniversary of their massively popular 1987 album, You’re Living All Over Me, Dinosaur Jr. performed a special tribute concert in New York City last night.

The band performed their entire album for the New York audience, before being joined on stage by various surprise guest musicians to perform a few cover songs. Johnny Marr accompanied the band on stage to play guitar on two different songs: a cover of the Smiths’ “The Boy With the Thorn In His Side” and “The Wagon,” which former Broken Social Scene member Kevin Drew also played on. Also there to lend a helping hand on a few songs were, former Sonic Youth members Kim Gordon and Lee Ranaldo, Portlandia star Fred Armisen, Dale Crover, Tommy Stinson, Black Francis and Kurt Vile.

Check out a few fan-captured videos featuring just some of the collaborations from the special night. (via Slicing Up Eyeballs)
