In an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter about her Golden Globes hosting gig, Tina Fey confirmed that she is in the process of developing on a new comedy series with fellow 30 Rock executive producers Robert Carlock and Jeff Richmond, who is also Fey’s husband.
Fey signed a four-year deal with Universal TV in September that will allow the writer/actor/showrunner to develop a NBC series in which she could possibly act as well.
A concept has not been decided yet, but Fey, Carlock and Richmond will all be available soon to develop a new project with 30 Rock ending on Jan. 31.
“Right now, we’re moving out of our old office, just trying to figure out where our new office will be, where Robert Carlock and Jeff Richmond and I can try to think of a new TV show.” Fey told THR.
Until these collaborators create a new show, you can catch their work on 30 Rock, Thursdays on NBC at 8 p.m. EST.
