The second, longer trailer has been released for 42, the upcoming Jackie Robinson biopic starring newcomer Chadwick Boseman.
Written and directed by Brian Helgeland, the movie tells the story of the legendary athlete who was the first African American to play Major League Baseball in 1947. Harrison Ford also stars as Branch Rickey, the general manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers who famously signed Robinson to play for the team.
The trailer features Jay Z’s 2008 single “Brooklyn Go Hard.” 42 was made by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures and will be released on April 12. Check out the new trailer below.
