After buying his company back from investors last year, fashion designer Kenneth Cole is returning to New York Fashion Week on Thursday, which ends a seven-year hiatus, The Associated Press points out.
Thursday’s NYFW show also kicks off the 58-year-old fashion designer’s “30th anniversary celebration in the fashion world. Cole’s company, Kenneth Cole Productions began 30 years ago as an unofficial part of a Manhattan industry shoe show: he was able to show buyers his shoes by parking a trailer outside of the show using a film production permit, according to the AP.
And via Twitter, Cole’s runway show will also support AIDS research as every @KennethCole follower who tweets with a #KCRUNWAY hashtag represents $1 that Kenneth Cole Productions will donate to amfAR, The American Foundation for AIDS Research, according to the Kenneth Cole 2013 Runway Show site.
You can watch the Kenneth Cole NYFW show live online at 7 p.m. EST here.
Other exclusive content from the show will be available via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr with the hashtag #KCRUNWAY, according to the Kenneth Cole Facebook page.
