With the help of Sennheiser, we’re proud to announce three showcases during SXSW’s Interactive and Film segments. The events will take place from March 10-12 at Austin, Texas’ The Blackheart and will be open to the public except for the March 12 showcase, which will only be available to those with SXSW badges. Those with SXSW badges will have priority entry for the public events.
The first event takes place on March 10 at 7:30 p.m. and features music from Quiet Company, The Eastern Sea, Day Joy, Air Review and Elle King. March 11‘s showcase starts off at 8 p.m. and features music from Free Energy, Moon Taxi, Fol Chen and Brass Bed. The previously announced March 12 showcase, which was co-curated by the Newport Folk Festival, features music from Jason Isbell, The Lone Bellow, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, The Last Bison, Spirit Family Reunion, Houndmouth, Hurray for the Riff Raff and more special guests. Take a look at the poster above for a complete lineup, and RSVP HERE.
The events follow the announcement of our first Interactive Studio and Lounge hours, which feature Sennheiser and Paste’s editors hosting some of the festival’s most intriguing talent for 15-minute Q&As, running from noon to 6 p.m. Booked interviews include LeVar Burton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Alex Winter (Bill from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Downloaded) and Brie Larson (21 Jump Street, Short Term 12).
