HBO  has officially released the first full-length trailer for their latest bio film, Phil Spector. Starring Al Pacino, the docu-drama details the trial of legendary music producer Phil Spector, who was accused of murdering actress Lana Clarkson and subsequently convicted of second-degree murder in 2003.

Helen Mirren  co-stars as Spector’s defense attorney, Linda Kenney Baden. The storyline will reportedly focus intensely on the two’s relationship. Arrested Development’s Jeffrey Tambor will also appear as fellow defense attorney Bruce Cutler.

The film comes courtesy of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and acclaimed filmmaker David Mamet. Both Al Pacino and Jeffrey Tambor have a history with Mamet’s work. Pacino previously starred in the 1992 film adaptation of Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross and headlined a Broadway revival of the play last year. Tambor, meanwhile, was featured in a Tony-winning 2005 revival of the same play, which co-starred Liev Schreiber and Alan Alda.
