With a flurry of new projects on the horizon, FX is set to expand its network.
According to a report by Vulture, the network will be spinning off a third network, FXX, to go along with its current movie channel, FXM.
The report states that FXX will be comedy-centric and lean towards a younger demographic. The new channel is scheduled to launch on Sept. 2 with four original scripted comedies.
Popular network fixtures It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League will be moved to the network as will Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.
The network will also air comedy movies like The Hangover 2.
