If you’re still upset about Breaking Bad coming to a close, there’s a ray of hope to see at least one character carry on.
According to Deadline, show creator Vince Gilligan and writer/producer Peter Gould are considering creating a spin-off that focuses on the competent (but shady) lawyer Saul Goodman played by Bob Odenkirk.
Goodman, whose made-for-business name is a play on the phrase “it’s all good man,” represented Badger in Season 2 and has been regular comic relief ever since.
According to the report, the new series would likely be a comedy exploring the ridiculousness of a lawyer who just wants to stay out of the courtroom. No formal deals or pitches have been made yet.
