Many of us are happily living device-dependent lives. But with the never-ending onslaught of new devices, keeping it all together (both literally and figuratively) can be a challenge in its own. You have special devices for charging, cords for connecting and powering, USB extensions, fortune cookie drives —you get the idea.
With new apps constantly in development to help manage our digital lives, it’s not surprising that a number of new, real products are being developed to organize our physical devices.
Fold Me Organizer
One of those products is STITX, a multi-pocket organizer that tightly secures to the back of a laptop. The product’s mission is essentially to simplify life, and that’s accomplished through a fairly simple product design. It includes a number of pockets and loops for holding keys, cards, phones, tablets, cords and just about anything else you could need for seamless work on the go. For the tech minimalists out there, look no further than the Pocket STITX, which holds a smartphone, earbuds and little more in its single pocket.
Fold Me is a similar product in concept, but it’s executed through a completely different design. The portable utility case holds, organizes and protects devices and personal items. With its multi-fold configuration, it easily morphs between a portfolio, wallet and smartphone stand. There are compartments for the usual items found in a purse, pocket or wallet: credit cards, keys, pen and money. Fold Me also has space to hold a jump drive, earbuds and a smartphone.
While Fold Me is a product intended more for organizing items in your personal life, STITX seems to be designed more with working professionals in mind. It’s worth mentioning that both these products come from Singapore, a tech-driven country that also happens to be one of the most densely populated in the world, and both products address needs of space, albeit on a personal level.
STITX and Fold Me are currently both seeking funding and support via Indiegogo campaigns.
