Back in January, an un-subtitled French trailer was released for Mood Indigo, Michel Gondry’s latest foray into all things quirky and whimsical. While the flurry of strange, offbeat imagery provided a broad idea of the film’s plot, specific details about the storyline were lost if you were not well-versed in the “language of love.”
Now, in the wake of the film’s opening in France yesterday, Studiocanal has released a new, subtitled trailer. The story casts Romain Duris as a lonely French inventor who falls in love with an eccentric girl played by Audrey Tautou.
Deadline reports that Studiocanal is close to closing a deal with an unnamed U.S. distributor.
