Bruce Springsteen Joins Dropkick Murphys for Charity EP

The Dropkick Murphys have teamed up with Bruce Springsteen for a 3-track EP to benefit the victims of the bombings at the Boston Marathon. The EP features Springsteen lending his vocals on the Murphys’ track “Rose Tattoo.”

The EP also includes two live acoustic tracks cut from a concert Dropkick Murphys played in Las Vegas just four days after the bombing.

The band has agreed to exclusively donate 100 percent of the proceeds to victims through the bands charity, The Claddagh Fund.

“The Claddagh Fund is a nationally-recognized official 501©3 charity whose mission is to serve the most vulnerable in our communities,” the band said in a statement on their website. “Innocent people being hurt by terrorists fits the core of that mission and we are proud to be able to help.

The EP is available for just $1.29 on iTunes.
