James Murphy is heading to Broadway.
According to Playbill, the LCD Soundsystem frontman will be composing an original score for Mike Nichols’ revival of Harold Pinter’s 1978 play Betrayal, starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Rafe Spall. Craig and Weisz—a real-life husband and wife duo—will also star as a married couple on-stage, while Spall will portray an adulterous friend having an affair with Weisz.
Not one to slow down, Murphy also has his hands full producing Arcade Fire’s latest album, a follow-up to 2010’s The Suburbs. So far, neither a title nor release date has been announced. The musician also recently designed a soundsystem for the Manchester International Festival, worked on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Mosquito, built a studio and, of course, has been DJing.
Betrayal will begin performances Oct. 1.
