Where Have all the Wildlings Gone is a compendium and graphic tribute to Game of Thrones by Chicago-based artist Nigel Evan Dennis. With maps, charts and character illustrations, Dennis has created a graphic library of facts and figures for the hit show.
The website is divided in to four sections: houses, faiths, timeline and map. Under the houses section, you’ll find information on the mottos and alliances of Westeros’ major houses. The timeline includes a detailed breakdown of the 12,500-year history of Westeros. The map simplifies the geography of the show’s world with borders and a color-coded key.
Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the project is the section of character illustrations that basically serves as a pictorial dictionary of the Game of Thrones cast. A simple key denotes what house the characters belong to, what season they were introduced and (spoiler alert) whether they are deceased.
As a token of gratitude for fans of his project, Dennis created The King’s Reward, a series of downloadable wallpapers based on the houses of the show. He has also provided the guitar chords and lyrics to “The Rains of Castamere,” a song written about Lord Tywin Lannister’s victory over House Reyne.
The website is an ongoing project that will be updated with the ever-changing characters and plotlines of Game of Thrones, so be sure to keep checking back.
